How to Style a Bedroom Drawer: Easy Designer Tips
Whether your drawer top is empty or cluttered, styling it properly can completely transform your room. If you’re a renter and can’t paint the walls or make major changes, styling your drawer is one of the simplest ways to elevate your space and make it feel professionally designed.
Here’s how to style your bedroom drawer in a simple, effective, and aesthetic way:
1. Place a Vase or Table Lamp
Choose a larger piece to anchor the space.
A small vase or lamp can look unbalanced, so go for something with height or visual weight for a polished look.
2. Add Different Heights on the Other Side
Balance the first item by placing objects with varying heights on the opposite side.
This could be a tall candle holder, another lamp (if you used a vase on the first side), or any décor piece — just avoid items that are too small.
3. Add Coffee Table Books in the Middle
Stack 2–3 coffee table books in the center to add height and structure. If you don’t have much space, use one small stack; if you have more room, create two stacks to balance the look.
4. Style With Small Décor Pieces on Top of the Books
Finish the look by adding smaller décor items on top of the books, a candle, a ceramic piece, or a small sculpture works perfectly.
✨ Important Tip:
Make sure all the items you use have different heights. This creates visual interest and prevents your styling from looking flat.
